Badge Embed Terms

Walter Grades, Inc. ("Walter") grants Publisher a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display the Walter badge for the identified publication on Publisher's own properties.

The badge always renders live from Walter. Publisher controls size and placement only; the grade, score, peer group, and track-record state may not be altered, delayed, cached as static images, cropped to omit elements, or displayed selectively based on the rating shown.

The badge links to Walter's page for the publication and may not be re-pointed.

The badge is a rating display, not an endorsement, partnership, or certification claim, and Publisher shall not describe it as one.

Publisher is solely responsible for its own regulatory compliance in advertising any rating. For investment advisers subject to the SEC Marketing Rule, Walter supplies a disclosure block — the rating date and period, Walter's identity as the rater, the statement that no publisher pays for or can influence ratings, and disclosure of any marketplace revenue relationship — which regulated publishers must display with the badge.

Upon termination of the Walter Publisher Agreement or revocation of this license, embeds automatically downgrade to the public view; Publisher shall not block, cache around, or replicate the pre-downgrade render.

The badge and Walter's marks are Walter's property, and goodwill from their use inures to Walter.

THE BADGE AND ALL RATINGS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND; WALTER'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
