Corrections & Appeals
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Walter corrects data and classification errors — for every publisher, signed or not. The methodology itself is a locked, versioned formula: the same inputs always produce the same outputs, no one at Walter can adjust an individual grade, and changes happen only by public, versioned release applied to everyone at once. Because grades cannot be negotiated, errors must be easy to fix.
In scope: a wrong price, date, ticker, attribution, peer-group classification, or misread instruction — anything provably inconsistent with source records.
Out of scope: disagreement with the methodology or with outcomes — there are no discretionary regrades.
To file: email support@waltergrades.com with the subject "Correction Request," naming the publication, the issue date, the specific datum, and your evidence.
Every request is acknowledged promptly, investigated against the original transmissions Walter retains, and resolved with a reason-coded outcome; confirmed errors flow through recomputation automatically and are logged, and a resolved dispute may be appealed once for a second review.
